Artist Statement

Greg Soviak is a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York.

His work explores distance, memory, and the quiet tension between presence and absence. Through images that feel both fleeting and suspended, he examines how people and places hold emotion long after they’re gone.

Rooted in the everyday, his photographs linger in moments of stillness — the space between connection and solitude, where feeling often speaks louder than form.

His images invite pause: a moment to notice what remains unseen.
